I'm Sacchan! I fangirl most of the time but sometimes that ends up in me subbing things (rather shabbily), which I guess is why most of you came here? I was an anime-manga-game fan to begin with, but I became into other Japanese stuffs after seeing MatsuJun in Gokusen. This journal is basically anything and everything I fangirl about. Yoroshiku ne!
(Also, I'm a hopeless chuunibyou so please spare me and my weirdness.)

My index basically doesn't work on DW, so I'll get to fixing that later. You can comment here if you want access to my locked DW posts, but please state that you're using a DW acc.

EDIT: For some reason, I found that some of my LJ mutuals are already granted access and some aren't, so if you have problems accessing my locked posts here please just say so cause I have no clue what is going on, tbh.

Current Mood: happy

Terrace House is ending and it's very uneventful at the moment, but then this segment was Karuizawa and adorable bromance, how could I not sub it.

This was an impulsive sub I decided to do after I caught up with all of Subaru's last appearances. From all the Togaki House segments they did on Chronicle, I think this is definitely my favorite. The live action of Nakamura Asumiko-sensei's hit manga, Double Mints, revolving around the relationship of two guys with the same name Mitsuo Ichikawa. Stars Tanaka Shunsuke and Fuchikami Yasushi as the two Mitsuo, and Suga Kenta and Kawagoishi Shunpei as younger Mitsuos.

It is hands down one of my favorite BL live action. I recommend it if you don't mind some violence and/or depictions of abuse and some teeny tiny bit of non-con stuff. It's not for the faint of heart. But it's also not too bad. ~~But then again what would I know. My threshold is all messed up with these things, haha.~~

Sorry. I just found this last month and found the Nakai no Mado/Nakai Masahiro Version so I figured I'd sub it and do some fun typesetting practice while I'm at it. It's short so I uploaded both (the original and the Nakai Ver.) unlisted so you can just stream it.

I got back yesterday exhausted, but today I went to watch Spiderman: Homecoming with my brothers and got a Spidey-head popcorn container.

I'm going to try my hardest to keep this short and with pictures. Oh and guess where I went. Although it's blatantly obvious and the last picture is a giveaway.

I have so many things I want to sub but so little perseverance. So I'M LOOKING FOR (rough) TIMERSSSSS.

Just to clarify I'm obviously not paying, subbing is pro bono as always lol.

I've been kind of a perfectionist pain-in-the-butt lately, so what I do with my subs is I rough time them, then I translate, then I fine time, then I typeset, then I QC (when I feel like it), and encode&upload. But the rough timing process is too much of a bore for my short attention span.

So basically:
- I need someone who will rough-time for me, keep in mind that it's from scratch (I won't give you translations so youre timing before i translate AKA timing blank lines)

Rough timing by my definition is when you just time the subs to the speech without paying attention to frame-snapping and fade-in and fade-outs.

- As for the projects I'll let you pick one out of my projects list which I'll send if you're interested, they're mostly Kanjani8 with some Kansai Jrs, and some Arashi (but might have to raincheck on the Arashi).

COMMENT/PM IF INTERESTED!

I mean you can propose things too if you want. But no promises I'll agree on them. Maybe we can work out some sort of agreement.

Looked up a whole bunch of Japanese rappers last Thursday. Here's a song I liked.

Romanized for my own sing-along pleasure but hey, why not upload it. I always seem to lose files when I don't upload them, anyway. Probably inaccurate though.

Kanji was from musixmatch but it wasn't perfect so I added some myself which probably made it worse. I tried my best. *shrug* And I tried a new lyric-writing format.

I just finished case presentations this morning which means my exams are over hurraaaayyy. So I have more time to sub things now! What a shitty, click-bait-y title, eh?

Rather than a dislike, it's probably just that I'm not good with change and adapting and I just don't bother with it if I can. But alas, life doesn't always go the way you want it to, does it?

Everyone's moving to DW so I'm being a paranoid sheep and moving with them. I still don't know how this shit works though so bear with me.

Right now I think if you're mutual friends with me you'll be able to see my locked entries on here with your OpenID? I'm not sure. Someone please enlighten me on that and how the friends-system works over here cause I don't understand anything.

Another thing, is that I'm not the best at making friends. So just thinking about how I have to start over and add friends from scratch terrify me for some reason. Moving my LJ account seemed like this... this... "thing" that I've built since two years ago had to be demolished all of a sudden and I have to tell everyone that I moved address.

What am I even spouting.

Hello to you, whoever's reading this. How are you? I hope you're well or at least better than I am. I currently have a bad case of exam-blues. My exam's next week and it goes on for about three weeks. The normal multiple choice questions are fine but the case presentation and field(?) practice is absolutely terrifying.

So as a way of de-stressing amidst all the revising, I figured I'd write a post about what I've been up to recently since it's been quite a while since I last did this anyway.

Post summary: PDRsan mentioning Nishihata Daigo and such, Rise of the Tomb Raider, FNS, Kimi no Na wa, and Naoto in tiramisu.

If you're worried about spoilers, don't be. I'm not gonna talk about the movie much, I'm probably going to talk mostly about the entire experience.

When everyone was hyped about FNS yesterday evening, I went to see the premier of Kimi no Na wa in the cinemas. Alone. For the first time. It was quite something so let me tell you about it. It's a long one.

Sorry for the hiatus, I haven't subbed anything recently.

Anyways, here's another lyric that I romanized for my personal use but figured I'd upload anyway. There are lyrics available here, but I didn't feel like the romaji suited the lyrics so I romanized it myself anyway. Kanji was from there, though.

Also, I English-ed(?) all the katakana and English-like words, cause I like to write them that way... Sorry if it bothers you. Corrections are welcome. It's an interesting track. Dope.
