Sacchan Subs: 2017.11.25 Chronicle - Togaki House

This was an impulsive sub I decided to do after I caught up with all of Subaru's last appearances. From all the Togaki House segments they did on Chronicle, I think this is definitely my favorite. I think I have a lot to say on this one so bear with the lengthy paragraphs and notes. Or just skip to the links, of course.

Ryo's drunken master was so much fun.

So a few months since Subaru's announcements and even after him leaving I was sort of out of touch with Eito, just didn't feel like keeping up, I guess. But I finally did catch up last week, it's like going through five stages of grief and getting closure lmao. And I think working on this and putting all the extra effort on this is, in it's own light, my way of accepting everything? Pfffft. Anyway, I'm proud of myself for how hard I worked on this even though some of the work I did might not even be noticeable LOL.

Sentiments aside, a shallower reason I decided to do this ep was because I'm Terrace House trash no. 1 and how can I say no to an Eito parody of Teraha? Totally cheated and copied Terrace House subs for the first few narrations, of course.

Several things I'd like to mention + translation notes:
- I purposely left the on-screen text-boxes slightly transparent/not opaque because the original ones aren't opaque either and it shows if I make them opaque. Sorry if the kanjis peeking through bothers you.
- The translations are obviously not 100% accurate and they're extremely loose in some places, especially the cues/togakis so I could fit them on the screen and/or so it just sounds more fluid. A lot of my speech habits/tendencies show through, too, so please bear with that haha.
- Some parts I didn't know exactly what they mean and I couldn't translate based on the nuance, so I left them blank or skipped over some details.
- Like I said, I just don't know some references, and when they talked about Drunken Master I was a bit lost so I left out some lines. But I think the move that Ryo did was Drunken Miss Ho's fighting style which the MC initially refused to practice cause it was too feminine, according to wikipedia.
- During Yoko's rap he says "maiku tsukandara maji de no.1/ when i grab the mic i'm really no.1", that's the lyrics for Dragon Ash's Grateful Days, hence the plagiarism remarks.
- Outrage is the title of a 2010 Japanese Yakuza film that stars Beat Takeshi. And they just say bakayarou a lot. Sorry for the awkward translations, I don't think bakayarou translates well lmao.
- The Japanese term for fastball is a straight(ball)/chokyuu, which is why it makes sense for Baru to say "you're going straight to it" and for Hina to respond with various baseball throws.
- Sorry I'm not uploading softsubs, too many fonts to attach and using softsubs tend to make the subs flicker anyways.
