Rather than a dislike, it's probably just that I'm not good with change and adapting and I just don't bother with it if I can. But alas, life doesn't always go the way you want it to, does it?

Everyone's moving to DW so I'm being a paranoid sheep and moving with them. I still don't know how this shit works though so bear with me.

Right now I think if you're mutual friends with me you'll be able to see my locked entries on here with your OpenID? I'm not sure. Someone please enlighten me on that and how the friends-system works over here cause I don't understand anything.

Another thing, is that I'm not the best at making friends. So just thinking about how I have to start over and add friends from scratch terrify me for some reason. Moving my LJ account seemed like this... this... "thing" that I've built since two years ago had to be demolished all of a sudden and I have to tell everyone that I moved address.

What am I even spouting.

Yeah, this whole thing is a headache, and I hate to lose LJ's better features, but on the other hand, this morning, LJ was down for me again. At least DW makes it easy to crosspost, so we aren't actually likely to lose followers, especially with seemingly everyone moving.

I'd vaguely heard that everyone was moving to DW, but until you did it, I didn't really think that everyone was moving to DW.

I find it's a thing that happens in waves. People get fed up with LJ and move and often they go back to LJ. I've never had any problems with LJ and personally, I find DW kind of ugly, lol. (And so American. And I just created an account and it's like going back in time.)

P.S. I'm also going to friend you with the DW account I just made to make sure no one steals my username but probably won't use.

Most people I know moved to DW so I was overcome with this fear that everything I posted will disappear so I just followed them haha.

I get what you mean, I still don't understand how everything works and where everything is yet... And even now my layout goes a little wonky and the fonts turn into something they're not supposed to and it annoys me a lot more than it should :(

LJ is moving their servers so people were afraid of security and copyright policies and so most people moved to dreamwidth and backed their LJ posts there *sigh*
