Since it's public holiday this Thursday, I'm home for two days~! (Going back tomorrow evening *sobs*)

Lemme just... fuck. I CAN'T EVEN. This thing gives me feels and shivers I haven't felt in a long time. It reminded me why I used to watch so much anime... It's THIS. This. THIIIIIIIIS.
Like seriously.
I'm not even making sense right now but maaaan... This is just what this show does to me.
If you didn't know, I have a soft spot for any sorts of movies with badass dudes fighting (like Crows OMG) and this is exactly that with the addition of mysteries and drugs and mafias and prostitutes. FUCK.
(Sometimes I feel like I'm more toned down when it comes to swear words in my LJ posts compared to how I'm like in other platforms... Livejournal makes me herbivorous... Maybe because all the things I post here are Jpop related fangirling business?)
This anime reminds me soooo so much about Baccano!, as I've stated in this kind of short post I put up on my facebook page a while ago... The art style and the overall twisted-ness of the characters, I guess. But I just thought of it now as I started the seventh episode, that it also reminds me of Jormungand (another one of my all-time favorite anime, if I must say). Maybe with all the fighting and weapons and mercenaries?
Okay. Um.
I'm starting to lose the red thread again here damn.
I'm guessing only a tiny bit of the people I know on here are into these sorts of series as much as I am... but god damn you should really give this anime a go if you like these sorts of things! But it can be pretty graphic and gory at times... So I guess if you don't like those things... stay away? But uuuugh lemme just tell you you're missing out, pfft.
I'm getting emotional now.
I said this already but god damn this anime reminded me why I love anime so much.
The feeling I felt when I watched DRRR!! for the first time...
When I saw the SHAFT head tilt for the first time in Bakemonogatari...
When I finished Samurai Champloo...
Like... Man... They've had such a huge part in my life. I've watched so many of them I wouldn't even be able to pick out a favorite.
Such anime.
