(Another One of) Sacchan's GTO (2014) Rant

I wouldn't say regular, per se...
But I do post about GTO a lot, the 2014 series ufufu.

capture-20140915-173427
MY GOD FUMA YOU'RE KILLING ME. I SHIP KUZUKI AND AYUNA SO MUCH IT KILLS ME.

AHHHH I don't want this drama to end <3 It just makes me all tingly and warm inside... It's also fast-paced so I don't get bored of it, except when I'm waiting for the next episode LOL

Also, because I watch GTO, I somehow fell in love with GENERATIONS, which led to falling in love with EXILE TRIBE pfffff... I really shouldn't get into anymore fandoms...

capture-20140915-173735
In case you don't know the ikemen guy looking all cynical(?) is Katayose Ryota <3

capture-20140915-173806
And he's Reo Sano kukuku

They're amazing. I love them. So much.

OOOOH. Sub updates. It's taking a while... Cause I really have a ton of shiz to do this week. Might finish later than I did last time. *Sacchan ganbaree~!*

See ya!

Oh wow what an amazing way to fall in love... Reminds me of Haruki Murakami's "On Seeing the 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning" hehe.

Ooh yeah, Hachimitsu to Clover... I don't really like dramas with complicated love relationships, heck I don't like ANYTHING with love triangles much, be it a book, movie, manga, just anything in general really, that's why I try to steer away as much as possible from them pft. 5 Centimeters per Second was pretty nice though, though the ending leaves me wanting more, just a tiny little bit hehe.

Yeah! Another season with Kauan! A lot of people actually don't like the fact that there's too many GTOs haha... But I actually like all of them. Now that I think about it, a little like spin-off would be nice, telling the stories and love relations of the GTO characters hahaha... That'd be a treat. (yeahrightkeepdreaming).

Ah! I've been wanting to watch Enoshima Prism for a while... Yeaaaah I've been waiting for Sukitte Ii na Yo and L-DK since forever, I'll definitely tell you when I find a source lol

UWAHHH now I really want to watch SHARK, too :c HIRANO SHO'S IN IT?! I like him so so so so very much >< and his raspy voice is just hnggggg <3 One of my favorite Johnny's Jrs, together with Kishi Yuta and Fukka and a whole bunch of others XD

Man, now I have a lot on my download-and-watch list, thanks for the recommends and advices! ><

Ooh, sorry about the friend thing, the links won't work unless it's a mutual friendship thing hehe. I added you though so they should work fine now :) Yoroshiku ne~ It's super fun talking to you, but maybe a little intro is overdue? kukuku

I'm Sacchan and as you already know I'm into a lot of things Japanese, mostly good looking guys and cool music groups, but ya know hehe. Mangas and animes are a huge chunk of my life too. And TV series like Supernatural, Sherlock, all the likes ufufu. Yoroshiku!

Yes, it really was amazing, but you can´t imagine how dumbfolded I was when suddenly he was gone and I realised I made a big mistake, letting him go liek that. He did tell me so much about himself, but we simply missed to introduce each other and so I did not know ...HIS NAME! You can´t believe what I did try to find him, but as you can imagine without and success in this really big city.

7 years later I recently fell in love again - of course another failure - but that´s probably not a story for an open post.

Ah, you like Haruki Murakami as well? I have read "Norwegian wood", "1Q84" and recently "The colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and his years of pilgramage", but most I liked "Kafka on the shore".

"Hachimitsu no clover" - I didn´t mean the dorama, but the movie. If I am not mistaken Sho Sakurai was not in the dorama-version ^-^.
I have an idea why you steer away from stories with a love triangle. I don´t like this either and in real live this of course mean that one person get´s extremely hurt - i have experienced that myself. in my concept love should only occur two-sided - and then always successfully! ^-^.
Yeah, but life isn´t that way. But for doramas and movies, love still is the best inspiration!
And I have to warn you, in SHARK 2 there is also a love-triangle-component buildt in!

Okay - if you love Sho Hirano THAT much, Shark 1 is a MUST!!! He really dominates that dorama and he plays a strange but wonderful character - a guy you want to shake or slap in the face (to wake up to reality) and hug at the same time - you´ll know what I mean once you´ve seen this!
He played gorgeous! Honestly I hope he´ll be back in more doramas! And yes, his voice really is unique!

With Sinkai Makotos animes it´s mostly that the end leaves you with the desire for more. His recent work GARDEN OF WORDS ( a little short in running time for my taste) also ends in a ways that you kind of see a "TO BE CONTINUED" in your imagination - and wonder if it will ever come.

Really? People complain that there is too much GTO? I have seen the first season and liked it - and I really LOVE this new 2014 season - as I said, extremely strong stories and performances. And many cute Japanese guys!

Haha, sorry for blowing up your "download and to watch-list" ^-^. And yeah, Kishi Yuta... I hope to be still awake enough to watch EP 05 of KINKYORI RENAI SEASON ZERO after I finished this message. How can you manage NOT to watch him now???? ^-^. Those eyes are soooo amazing. And he play that kind of character I totally would fall in love with...so cute and considerate. *SIGH*

And yes, you should watch ENOSHIMA PRISM very soon. It´s that kind of movie you love to watch when you calm down from a stressful week, maybe on a friday evening, and just want something nice an relaxing and beautiful...it works magic that way!

And thanks for thinking of me when you find something reagrding L-DK and Sukitte Ii na Yo. Of course I´ll do the same for you. And also thanks for adding me to your friends list! ^-^.

Thanks for your introduction. I´ve already told a lot about myself. I also like a lot of Japanese things, from food, the landscape, the people to movies (way too underrated in the western world!) and doramas, music and - yes to be honest - mostly the young Japanese men. Japan has so many good looking young actors that I am always kind of amazed - I have found hardly anything alike in our western culture. I guess would I be living in Japan I would be endangered to fall in love twice a day - while here...years without ever :-(.

I already talked about movies and doramas - regarding music it started with Arashi, but their recent releases are not as thrilling as they used to be in earlier years. I like the voice of Kikuchi Fuma, and hence listen to SEXY ZONE, discovered YUZU recently in Japan night 2014 - but the group that I really fell in love with and admire as artist is SEKAI NO OWARI. They are true artists who live their music. And other than most Johnny´s groups SEKAOWA plays REALLY live - the whole concert through and not just for 10%. Very creative, write their own songs - beautiful arrangements and I love the voice of Fukase!

Running out of space here- since only 4300 letters are allowed!

Those actors I love are Seto Koji, Kazunari Ninomiya, Yoshizawa Ryo, Chiba Yudai, Yamamoto Yusuke, Hongo Kanata, Nakamura Yuichi, Kamiki Ryonosuke, Sato Takeru, Kikuchi Fuma, Kishi Yuta, Jinguyi Yuta, Matsumura Hokuto, Jesse...I probably forgot many others now....

When it comes to western movies, I love the old ones with Doris Day, John Wayne, Dean Martin and such, a british series called THE AVENGERS from the mid-sixties is simply terrific and music-wise the above artis as well, but on the top unmatched Caterina Valente - she is the most talented person I ever saw. Retired by now, but THE European artist of the 50´s and 60´s and known worldwide.
I also like to listen to Jazz, Elvis and other old-time Rock`n Roll. Connie Francis, Cliff Richard, Rick Nelson.

[identity profile] sacchanxd.livejournal.com 2014-09-19 10:47 am (UTC)(link)
Ahhh love indeed proves to be a challenge...

Hmmmmm if love-triangles are present then it might take me a while till I watch SHARK 2 :| I'm downloading SHARK right now though kukuku Can't wait to watch <3

Arashi's been really quiet ne... *sigh* I ended up liking GENERATIONS FROM EXILE TRIBE after watching GTO cause of the Arashi-quietness heheh.

Oh my that's a lot of actors XD I liked Yoshizawa Ryo in Akihabara@DEEP (the 2006 drama), he played this like kansai computer genius, his dialect was adorable haha. And OOOH! Yamamoto Yusuke <3 He's an amazing actor IMO, he was wonderful in Yamada-kun to Shichinin no Majo hahaha... He has such beautiful jaws (I have a creepy fetish thing with jaws, don't mind me pft). I'm not a big fan of Hokuto, maybe cause I didn't like his character in Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou? IDK... I love Jesse though hehe <3

Oh wow I'm not that into western culture since I live nowhere near, so I don't know half the things you're saying X'D I know Elvis though, obviously, and Cliff Richard I think is the person who sang Summer Holiday? Or was that a different guy.. pft

[identity profile] tbscreenrider.livejournal.com 2014-09-19 01:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, I´d say once you watched SHARK 1 you will not wait very long to continue with the second season ^-^. Please let me know how you liked it, once you´ve watched.

Yes, I´d say that most probably ARASHI got a different status in Johnny´s after their tenth anniversary. They have been Johnny best source of income over the first ten year (and they still sell like crazy, even with lesser activities) – and they kind of earned a “semi-retired” status. The pace they were going for a really long time, of course is not healthy and when you get a little older you have to slow down a bit if you don´t want to damage body and soul ^-^. But I also think Arashi´s style of music changed considerably and I simply liked the old stuff better.

Akihabara@deep was always on my list of doramas I would love to see, but I never found decent quality files with subs. Wasn´t Toma Ikuta in it? But Yoshizawa would be another huge reason to watch that. Have you watched LOST DAYS? I really loved him in that one. And Seto Koji also is one of my all-time fave actors – he had the lead in LOST DAYS.

YAMADA-KUN with Yamamoto Yusuke is another of those doramas on my list – I already have that, but didn´t watch it yet. Too little time, always too little time for the good things in life . And indeed Yusuke has a wonderful jaw ^-^. Regretably he had very little big roles in doramas or movies lately.

I am watching HOMEROOM ON THE BEACHSIDE right now – Yusuke is in it and he looks absolutely gorgeous in this one – it´s from 2008, he was in his prime then ^-^. And it´s the last time Nakamura Yuichi appeared in a dorama – I also adore him - he had an excellent episode 4 for himself.

Hm, I really liked Hokuto in SHIRITSU BAKALEYA, I have to say. I didn´t like the character he played in PIN TO KONA (he was a kind of jealous jerk there) and I didn´t like his haircut in SHARK – you´ll know what I mean when you see it!

And yes, Cliff Richard was the guy who sang “Summer holiday” among other hits over a period of more than 50 years ^-^.

[identity profile] sacchanxd.livejournal.com 2014-09-20 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Kukuku I'm watching the first episode right now... All of the cast has weird hairstyles XD

Well, I haven't been a fan for that long, so I don't know... I think I got really into them around the time Lucky Seven was airing? When Wild At Heart was released...

Maybe because @DEEP's pretty old? The one I torrented also had a so-so quality, but I'd say it was pretty high quality considering it was pretty old. Yes! Ikuta Toma's in it and he played wonderfully~ He's an amazing actor ufufu

Ooh, maybe I'll watch those you mentioned after I finish SHARK~ ^.^

[identity profile] tbscreenrider.livejournal.com 2014-09-20 11:02 am (UTC)(link)
True, they all have weird hair-style - except for Sgho Hiranos - that fitted him well.

Ah, If you are not that long an Arashi-fan und you haven´t watched my favourite two Kazunari Ninomiya-doramas you should checke them out. One is YASASHII YIKAN - this is a more serious dorama, that plays deep in winter in Hokkaido - it´s perfect for watching around Christmas because of that special mood and scenery. Nino father owns a coffe shop and each time he brew fresh coffe (and he didi that a lot) I was getting so thirsty for a good cup of coffee...
The other one is a cute comedy also featunring Sho Sakurai, called YAMADA TARO MONOGATARI. Nino plays a poor guy tahtis taking care of a lot of sibblings and is truely someone you would love to cuddle throughout this dorama ^-^.

I guess I have to search again for @Deep. I don´t do torrent (to dangerous here), and so far I haven´t foudn a decent source, which is regretable, since I really love both Yoshizawa ryo and Ikuta Toma!

Sppeaking of Ikuta Toma - if you can stand an unbeleivable good "true love"-movie, Ikuta Toma´s HANAMIZUKI is a movie not to be missed - it´s so beautiful. I also liked his WE WERE THERE: FIRST LOVE (Bokura ga ita Zenpen (2012)), but HANAMIZUKI is excellent.

And regarding Doramas I enjoyed Ikuta very much in "Osozaki no Himawari" (Late blooming sunflowers - my life renewed) (Fuji TV / 2012) - very nice dorama.

So I guess you have enough recommendations to keep you busy for a while. Ahhh no...one more you ABSOLUTELY have to watch - that dorama was heavily underrated, but it´s highly entertaining. I´m speaking about TUMBLING, starring our Yamamoto Yusuke as a soft-hearted Yankee who collides with well-mannered Seto Koji. Yamamoto and Seto have worked together quite often a couple of years ago, but this is my favourite collaboration of those two fabulous actors. It´s a MUST-SEE-dorama. And recently - after a couple of years - the subtitles were completed.

[identity profile] sacchanxd.livejournal.com 2014-09-20 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I listed everything you mentioned on my list hehee :3

I've watched SHARK up to episode four kukuku... Iwamoto Hikaru's character (the drummer) is such a perfect fit for him XD Though Hokuto's character gives off a girly vibe to me pft. The drama is packed with Johnny's WEST members XD Although they were still juniors at the time, and Fujii Ryusei definitely looked much better in SHARK compared to how he looked in Again!!

[identity profile] tbscreenrider.livejournal.com 2014-09-20 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol - than you are quite busy for some time watching down that list. But if you´re in need for more suggestions, just throw me a line and I sure will be able to find something ^-^. I have focused mostly on doramas so far (with the small exception of ENOSHIMA PRISM and HANAMIZUKI), but there are also some good movies around ^-^.

Oh my god...sorry..I´m shaking from laughing - I didn´t even notice that this guy in SHARK was Fuyii Ryusei - I really had to search which character he played ^-^. I`m only at Episode 3 in AGAIN!! now - but when I watched the first episode I thought "this guys looks strange - especially the haircut!". But I wouldn´t say he looked better in SHARK - there he looked tooo "cool" for my taste (but that´s of course a matter of personal taste - I simply don´t like guys that seem to be full of themselves). And I don´t like it when guys look like fashion victims. Seto Koji for example sometimes gets dolled up a lot - and I don´t like it. That guy looks so unbelievably cute and best in just casual jeans and a T-Shirt or a Jeans-shirt. Same goes for Chiba Yudai.

But then again Fuyii had something that kept me watching. AGAIN!! might not be my favourite dorama, but I will watch it until the end.

Hm,...and yes, now that you mention it - Hokuto really had a strangely soft, nearly feminine aura in SHARK. He seemed so different in SHIRITSU BAKALEYA, had much more presence, appeared stronger, quite mature. I really think he has potential as an actor, but those roles he got in PIN TO KONA and SHARK were not the best suited for him.

Yeah, SHARK is full of Johnny´s WEST members and this continues with SHARK 2 (Shigeoka Daiki, who did a good job there. I very much liked his sensitive, vulnerable character).

Right now I´m waiting in anticipation for the subs to KINKYORI RENAI EP 06. I saw EP 05 late this week and Kishi Yuta was so so so cute again. I loved it how he moved, kind of threw his head after Mirei told him that she confessed to Haruka and Haruka came towards them (he doeas have a very unique body language I very much like) - and the way he started singing when a situation became awkward (he just sang a few bars, but I loved his voice - sounded really traditional). And again THOSE eyes ^-^. God, I´d be helpless...

[identity profile] sacchanxd.livejournal.com 2014-09-21 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
Ah I get what you mean... Sometimes when guys are acting cool it's very cringe-worthy XD You should watch Nakajima Kento Loveholic Oujisama, it's not a drama, it's a show...thing? Just for the cringy moments kukuku.

Hokuto has like this segment on the variety show Gamushara called "Hoku Hoku Hokuto" where he goes around restaurants eating scalding hot food, going hoku hoku (it's an onomatopoeia, like omnom, but for hot food). It's pretty pointlessly entertaining pft.

AH! I just remembered I haven't watched Bad Boys J the movie... I think Shigeoka's in that right? Ah~ Maybe I'll watch that first since I already have it ufufu.

It's gonna be Kishi's birthday sooooooon ~ kyahaha

[identity profile] tbscreenrider.livejournal.com 2014-09-21 12:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks for your recommendations. Ahhh, if I only had more time!!! I´m already troubled getting to watch all the doramas I would like to enjoy - so I mostly skip the variety shows. Especially since they are hardly ever subbed and I don´t understand Japanese language.

You already have "Bad Boys J the movie"? I haven´t found a file, let alone subs, yet :-(.

Hope I´ll manage to watch a new episode of SEIJO and SUKIYUU YANKEE today - but still some chores on my list first...
