Honestly I also forgot the topics of EP 01 and 03 since they were not that interesting. If I am not mistaken 01 was more of less some introduction about GTO arriving in that school.
It really got interesting with EP 02 and Sao Reno´s intriguing performance. Oh, there were quite a few really adorable guys in the course of that dorama. I also like Katayose Ryota a lot. Hm, I also noticed Okamoto Kauan in the dorama and wondered why he wasn´t featured more prominently since he also is cute and seems to be an interesting person - BUT maybe he still get his episode? I have watched up to EP 08 by now.

Oh, you really managed to stop after EP 01 of KINKYORI RENAI SEASON ZERO? I perfectly understand your desire to watch a dorama only if it is complete (and for me that also means the subs have to be completed - and that`s another story, since some will never be completed, as for example in NAZO NO TENKOSAI - Hongo Kanata, another of my fav actors). I haven´t started Tokyo 23 for exact that reason, since you said it would take another while until the third episode will get subbed - and since I don´t like too long breaks between episodes I mostly start only when either all subs are out, or at least there is a certain buffer I could use when the subber needs longer for another episode - and that can always happen when real life buts in ^-^.
I enjoy that luxury when someone recommends an older dorama that already is complete (as I for example so much enjoyed SUMMER NUDE this summer and was happy I could watch another episode whenever I was in that mood and didn´t have to wait for another EP or subs). But with new doramas and actors that I love it´s a constant battle with myself, if I manage to wait...or loose.
In the case of KINKYORI RENAI S. ZERO I bravely waited until 3 episodes were subbed - but then Arisu didn´t release new subs for quite a while after EP 04 due to RL and I was so thrilled by this dorama (and had vacation) so I simply couldn´t stop watching - and here I go waiting for the next sub-release in anticipation again ^-^.

I did watch Abe Aran in SHARK 2 and was kind of amazed how different he appeared in KINKYORI RENAI. The longer hair looks so much better on him than the short and this kind of moody character totally fits him. He is a perfect choice for the role. But so are the other two lead-actresses and so much Kishi Yuta. He is my discovery in this dorama and mainly the reason I couldn´t stop watching it. He plays such a lovely person here and looks so sweet, a guy you really would love to have as a friend (or more). And I LOVE his eyes - would he look at me with those beepers he most probably could get anything from me ^-^.
So, I couldn´t wait with this one. Or SUIKYUU YANKEE - too many of my faves like Chiba Yudai, Yoshizawa Ryo (also great in LOST DAYS) or Yamazaki Kento.
